Cindy's comments reminded me.. photos! :)
This was Christmas morning...

And this was taken on Boxing Day...

2006 comes to an end....

So there we are, another year is about to come to an end. How has yours been, what were your highs and lows?

My biggest high, as always, has been watching my gorgeous girls growing and developing. They're two very different girls, and both wonderful. :)

My other high was finding a job, with just the hours I needed, and some lovely people to work with.. which always makes a difference.

My book forum continues to develop, and it's brought me lots of highs. I've been sent books, and even a manuscript, and I have some lovely people on the forum to discuss them with. Most importantly, I've met some great new people, and made some new friends.

And talking of friends, I've been lucky enough to have a lovely friendship develop over the course of the year. Cindy, I'm hoping next year holds good things for you! :)

I wonder what 2007 has in store....?

Tidy Up Time

We have an embarrassing problem in this house.. fleas! First Hannah seemed bad, now it's Louis! We keep putting Frontline on them, and the other day we had to get some strong stuff for the carpets upstairs.

Of course, the trouble was, we needed to get to the carpet, so some tidying was in order! At least it gave us a kick to do it. Today, we've gradually been working on tidying down here too.. not easy with two excited kids running around!

I've found a solution though.. whilst looking for a missing present in the cupboard, I discovered my bottle of Martell.. Merry Christmas Everyone! LOL

Are you feeling 'Christmasy' yet?

The presents are (mostly) bought, the decorations are up, and Beth has started learning the words to some of the Christmas songs I've been playing. And yet, it still doesn't feel as if Christmas is just over a week away.

Mind you, Beth has finished school, and Glen is now off until after Christmas, but I have 2 days of work left. Maybe when that's over, I'll start to relax, and get into the spirit of things?

How's it going for the rest of you..?
